Jennifer is a nurse, a mom, and a fierce advocate for the mental health community.
After discovering finger knitting—and experiencing firsthand the therapeutic power of crafting—she was inspired by the vibrant craft fair community to launch A W.A.R.R.I.O.R.'S. Project.
Through her writing, creative designs, and holistic approach to well-being, Jennifer crafts stories designed to be a gentle reminder that no one has to walk alone. A portion of all book royalties is donated to local mental health organizations to raise awareness, build community strength, and support an often-overlooked population.
Every Warrior Deserves a Snuggle is the first book created in this project with an expected launch date of November 7, 2026.
The author is located in Omaha, NE. Organizations that will be supported by this project are chosen by the author and the participants.

All written entries and poetry are the personal work of the author. AI technology was only used to check for grammatical corrections, as an appropriate reference (e.g. thesaurus, dictionary, etc), and for formatting. Independent writing association rules and regulations were researched and followed based on recommendations based on these sources.
For this project AI technology was utilized to capture the illustrations the author envisioned. After trialing a few illustrators it was determined that the illustrations she spent hours creating captured her vision more appropriately.
The poetry was placed onto the image with AI. Very careful inspection and editing was completed to ensure that the writers own content and writing was maintained and transferred accurately.
All photographs of participants were taken by the author or another person chosen by the participants. Edits were completed by the author with mobile device capabilities. AI technology was only used to remove background items or make minor adjustments.
Photos of all handmade knit items were taken by the author. AI technology was used for some items to create an appropriate background. All AI was prompted to maintain 100% accuracy of the items pattern, texture, and position to maintain the integrity of the items.
All changes made are similar to when a photographer used Photoshop, and all content was approved by the participants.
